Use of theme: when running low on aura, the player enters unstable, vulnerable state, without the ability to shoot, and has to survive untill the aura refills.

seems like i get to a point where my aura is low and i cant shoot, and it never refills
It does take some time to refill. Just firing consumes some aura, to get it back you have to hit the enemies.
Either this game is really hard or I just have skill issue. I couldn't get past the second level. I think that second enemy should have a bit less health or the unstable state should be a bit more forgiving. Either way, absolutely love the sound design, the music, art, everything.
If you don't mind my asking, is this a custom engine?
